Young Da’ee

Young Da’ee Program

i3 Institute has developed this exciting program for the study of classical Islamic literature tailored for those who want a specialized and intensive study experience. The program focuses on those aspiring young Muslims who are already involved in Islamic activism through their local Masjid or their MSA in their high school, college or university and want to make a difference in the community.

The program is divided into 2 parts for 3 years.

Program Details

  1. 2-year program
  2. 10-month study period per year.
  3. Weekly 2 hour study circle class.
  4. Expected 3-5 hours of individual study per week.
    • 2-4 hours of reading
    • 1 hour of homework
  5. 25+ Books on 8 Islamic subjects:
    • Aqeedah
    • Quran
    • Hadith
    • Fiqh & Usul
    • Seerah & History
    • Da’awa
    • Current issues
    • Tazkiyah
  6. 1 Quiz per subject.
  7. Small classes for a rich study experience.

Upon completion, student is awarded with a Diploma in Leadership and Islamic Studies.

Graduate Studies

Open only to graduates of the YD program. 10 month long research project focused on a topic agreed upon between student and instructor

There is a 3-Step process for registration:

  2. Answer in short form the following questions about yourself and e-mail it to with the following in the Subject Line of the email: “Young Da’ee 2016-2017 Registration”
    1. Why do you want to join the Young Da’ee program?
    2. tell us why should the institute accept you for such an intensive program?
    3. List in point form your Islamic extra-curricular activities in your local masjid or your MSA
    4. List prior educational experiences in Islamic Studies
  3. Send us the name of one reference (local imam, ex-YD student, etc)
